New Line of Mini Circuit Breakers from c3controls
Beaver, PA — c3controls has intro- duced its Series 1100 line of minia- ture circuit breakers (MCBs), the inaugural offering of MCBs from the company. The new MCBs have a 10 kA short-circuit current rating (SCCR), on par with the highest available on the market, double the 5 kA of most competitor models, pro- viding excellent short-circuit and overload protection for branch and downstream devices. Including both UL 489 branch
circuit breakers and UL 1077 supple- mentary protectors and over 500 unique configurations, the Series 1100 is suitable for a wide range of applications. Configurations include one-pole, one plus neutral, two, three, and three plus neutral, with current ratings from 0.5 to 63A, all with thermal and magnetic trip ele- ments for overload and short-circuit protection. The c3 MCBs are an all- in-one product, flexible for use in AC and DC applications, breaking from the common market standard of offering a separate line for DC.

Bosch Launches Smart Sensor Hubs for Wearables
Reutlingen, Germany —Bosch Sensor - tec has introduced its BHI260 and BHA260, the first two members of a new generation of smart sensor hubs. The new devices are optimized for 24/7, always-on sensor processing and consume very low amounts of power. With the help of its integrated
powerful sensor coprocessor and MEMS sensors, the BHI260 and BHA260 can handle sophisticated sen- sor processing tasks and data buffer- ing without waking up the main appli- cation processor. The CPU draws 950 µA at 20 MHz in “long-run” mode, and 2.8 mA at 50 MHz in the high-performance “turbo” mode. The processor delivers up to 3.6 CoreMark/MHz. The new Bosch sensor hub family includes state-of-the-art 16-bit MEMS sensors — a six-axis inertial meas - urement unit (IMU) in the BHI260 or a three-axis accelerometer in the BHA260. They provide extensive con- nectivity, up to 25 GPIOs for BHI260 and up to 12 GPIOs for BHA260, and support for integration of other sensor devices, including GNSS and various localization systems. The smart sensor hubs are compact enough to easily fit into small prod- ucts, such as hearing devices and wearables. The BHI260 comes in a 44-pad LGA package, with the
