The mechanical and electrical properties of beryllium copper make it an ex- cellent material for battery contacts, ground- ing clips, connector contacts, ESD clips, and EMI/RFI shielding gaskets. partment produces tools capable of forming intricate sharp bends in tempers from an- nealed to fully hard. Component parts are then heat treated in an inert atmosphere to enhance spring properties, permitting greater deflection without compression set, while achieving close dimensional control.
