AOS Releases Next-Gen XSPairFET MOSFET
Sunnyvale, CA — Alpha and Omega Semiconductor (AOS) has introduced its AONX38168, which utilizes the latest 25V N-channel MOSFET tech- nology. The XSPairFET™ includes the low-side and high-side MOSFET in a leadless 0.2 x 0.24 in. (5 x 6 mm) surface mount package, suitable for synchronous DC-DC converter appli- cations. The AONX38168 is designed
with the latest bottom-source pack- aging technology, which has low switch node ringing, due to low para- sitic inductance. The device offers a higher power density when compared with existing solutions, and is suited for server and telecommunications markets. The AONX38168 is the newest generation of XSPairFETs, offering low on-state resistance and excellent figures of merit. The XSPairFET has bottom-source con- nection for the low-side MOSFET, which can provide improved thermal performance, a simplified layout and reduced EMI.
With the significant perform-
ance improvement, the AONX38168 allows new designs to operate at higher switching frequencies. AOS offers a complete solution with digi- tal power and power IC products for

Barry Industries Intros DC to 40 GHz Chip Attenuators
Attleboro, MA — Barry Industries has introduced its AS1209BA-XXXXFN- YY broadband, DC to 40 GHz chip attenuators. The AS1209BA-XXXXFN-YY has
22.5 dB return loss to 30 GHz and 18.5 dB to 40 GHz. Barry Industries is an ISO
9001:2015 certified, ITAR-registered manufacturer of high-quality thick- film attenuators, resistors, termina- tions, and high-temperature co-fired ceramic (HTCC) packaging. The AS1209BA-XXXXFN-YY is a
compact, 0.12 x 0.09 in. (3.05 x 2.29 mm) SMT flip chip constructed of robust thick film with solderable ter- minals. This 50W impedance device is available in 0 to 10 dB nominal atten- uation in half-decibel increments. Attenuation tolerance is less than 0.75 dB over a 40 GHz range. It is RoHS- and REACH-compliant and is rated at 500 mW at a 212°F (100°C) mounting surface temperature. With its broadband perform-
ance, stable thick-film design and 1.26:1 maximum VSWR over a DC to 40 GHz range, the AS1209BA- XXXXFN-YY is suitable for applica-
