the facility to minimize any staff member’s chances of contracting the virus. This also includes handling the incoming packages carefully with sanitization tools in place for staff,” says Irfan. If any staff member con- tracts the virus, the entire facility will be shut down for two weeks. This is a very serious ongoing threat for manufacturing. Irfan says that health is a great blessing. “We need to consider the
communal good at times like these. That communal good will result in health and a better environment for all of us.” Irfan mentions a few con- siderations for the community as a
whole. “If all us bought supplies in a responsible way, more people would have had an easier time accessing the necessary supplies. If we all stayed home following the shelter in place, it would have slowed the spread further,” he says. “Everyone wearing a mask ensures we don’t pass on the infection to others. So many valuable community lessons. In spite of the tremendous loss, this situation also gave all of us more time with our families, more time for reflection and more opportunity to do good for others.” r
