Plymouth, WI — Kurtz Ersa is now of- fering Interflux’ SelectIF 2040 and Pa- cIFic 2009M VOC-free fluxes. Due to the recent demand for isopropyl alco- hol, many companies are changing to water-based (VOC-free) fluxes, instead of alcohol-based fluxes for selective sol- dering and wave soldering processes. Changing over to a water-based flux is relatively easy. In most cases, a reduction of the spray volume is enough to achieve the same solder- ing results. In some cases, a slight increase in preheating may be re- quired. This makes water-based fluxes a virtually drop-in replace- ment for any alcohol-based flux. The Interflux SelectIF 2040 is a VOC-free, halide-free, no-clean, selec- tive soldering flux. Ersa has per- formed testing against other popular alcohol-based selective solder fluxes with excellent results. The PacIFic 2009M is a VOC-free, halide-free, low-
residue, high-reliability, no-clean wave soldering flux that has high compatibility with conformal coatings.

They offer brilliant and high- contrast images, even in bright sun- light, with a luminance of 1,000 cd/m2 and more. This screen technol- ogy allows viewing angles of nearly 360°. All touch and display functions, as well as animations, can be pro- grammed using supplied software. The mini touch panels are well- suited to replace physical switches and controllers in home automation, appliances and consumer electronics. They come with standard interfaces, including USB, RS-232, SPI, and I2C. Digital inputs and output, four ana-
log inputs and a PWM output make them useful as intelligent controllers for signal and data calculation and management.
