Fuji Launches Next-Gen Twin Spindle Lathe
Vernon Hills, IL — Fuji has launched its CSD-300II front-facing twin spin- dle lathe. The new system is an up- grade to the CSD-300, designed to be more robust with increased rigidity and loaded with new and improved features for faster, easier and stronger operation. The CSD-300II achieves faster
robot traverse and turret indexing speeds than its predecessor. Turret indexing times are as low as 0.19 sec- onds, robot cycle times 17.9 seconds

robot chuck and the robot’s central- ized lubrication system system are included as standard. The system comes ready to quickly connect to IoT, including Fuji’s LAPSYS desk- top software. Available as an option, LAPSYS
reads scanned laser etchings to trace the origin of a part, including ma- chine and spindle, and enables part traceability, predictive maintenance
