ATEC’s agreement with JULABO USA, expands the company’s product lineup with refrigeration and heating circula- tors, temperature control systems, chillers, baths, and coolers. ATEC provides short- and long-term rental, leasing and sale for testing, analysis, inspection, measurement, monitoring, simulation, and other applications for a wide range of industries and compliance testing companies. ViscoTec Asia Conducts Vacuum Dis-
pensing Tests Kennesaw, GA — ViscoTec recently conducted tests on behalf of a customer who required a solution for potting a hole with a diameter of 0.1 in. (2.8 mm). The primary goal was to reduce potting time to less than 10 seconds, without any entrapped air. This was made difficult by metal coils beneath the casting area, which are prone to trapping air bubbles. Initial tests showed that the pot- ting could be completed in a range of 24 to 32 seconds at a lower flow rate. Af- ter implementation of the vacuum chamber, however, the process could be re- duced to under 10 seconds, without any cavities in the material. Equipment used included a preeflow eco-DUO two-component dispenser, a tabletop robot, a vacuum pump, and a vacuum chamber. Web:
