New Analyser Offers a Flexible Carbon/Sulphur Measuring Range
For accurate and reliable analysis of carbon and sulphur in inorganic materials, Eltra’s new ELEMENTRAC CS-i is the perfect choice. It uses an induction furnace for sample combustion as well as highly sensitive IR cells to simultaneously determine C/S concentrations. The variable measuring range of the ELEMENTRAC CS-i is defined by the configuration of the infrared cells but also by the sample quantity to be analysed. Thanks to the complete decomposition of the sample, very high concentrations of carbon and sulphur can be reliably detected by reducing the sample amount.
The robust ELEMENTRAC CS-i offers performance features which make the analysis process easy and convenient: freely selectable configuration of each IR cell; new vacuum system ensures high measurement precision and stability; heated dust trap allows for improved sulphur detection; optimised catalyst reactor permits more accurate carbon detection; new ELEMENTS software with comprehensive diagnosis and analysis tools.
Unlike analysers from other manufacturers, the CS-i is not only available in standard configuration with two IR cells for carbon and sulphur respectively, but also in individual configurations with single IR cells.
