Support activity


Ask learners to share their simple sentences that they have created above with a partner. Each partner reads the other partners sentences aloud. Ask learners to make very sure that these are simple sentences. Is there one finite verb and one idea in each sentence? If there is not, then how can the sentence be corrected? Encourage learners to be supportive of one another, but to speak out if they spot a mistake. If there are errors, ask learners to work on the corrections by writing the correct versions in their exercise books.
