For more than 20 years, Bar-le-Duc's street arts festival – today called RenaissanceS – has been celebrating the Meuse town's heritage. In the remarkable setting of the Upper Town, packed with jewels of Renaissance architecture, visitors can enjoy a
variety of live performances. Every house, cul-de-sac and passageway is a potential source of entertainment as performers spring up everywhere, ranging from street theatre to circus acts, acrobats and singers to brass bands. It runs from July 2 to 5.
