Diane Knutson Diane


Bobby Pace Knutson is presently


teaching instrumental music at Sheridan High School where her classes include two concert bands, a jazz band, and percussion classes. She has served as both the Northeast


District


President and the WMEA Band Vice President. In 1996, Mrs. Knutson was named the Wyoming Music Educator of the Year. She continues to be active as a trumpet player in her community and as an adjudicator and guest conductor throughout the area.


Dr. Jennifer Mellizo


Jennifer M Mellizo is a practicing K-8th grade music educator in Laramie, WY.


Currently, she


teaches K-4 general music, and 5-8 band and choir classes at the University of Wyoming Laboratory School. Dr. Mellizo’s primary


research interests include multicultural, intercultural, and global approaches in music education, world music pedagogy, and intercultural sensitivity in early adolescence.


Ian Miller


Originally from Southern New Jersey, Ian Miller began as a studio teacher and Assistant Band Director in 2003 before graduating with his Music Education degree from Rowan University in Glassboro, NJ in


2012. He first started running his own ensembles as Orchestra Director and General Music Teacher at the Thomas E Bowe School in Glassboro, NJ in January of 2013.


Dr. Lara Moline


Lara M. Moline is the Visiting Instructor/Assistant Professor of Music for Northwest College in Powell, WY, where she conducts the NWC Collegiate Chorale, Studio Singers, Sixth Street Jazz, Contemporary Vocal


Ensemble, teaches applied voice lessons in both classical and jazz, and music appreciation. Lara recently graduated with a Doctor of Arts degree from the University of Northern Colorado, in Choral Conducting, with an emphasis in Vocal Jazz.


Audrey Orberg Audrey Ortberg is in her 6th year teaching 6-8 Orchestra and 7-8 Music Appreciation at CY Middle School in Casper, WY. In addition to teaching orchestra, she has a before


school club, ROCKESTRA, where her students play string arrangements of rock music. Mrs. Ortberg is also the head cheerleading coach.


Bobby Pace is the full-time staff accompanist at Chadron State College in Nebraska. He has accompanied choirs of all levels, from children’s choirs up to adult community choirs. He currently plays for all vocal ensembles at


CSC, including the Concert Choir and Vocal Jazz Ensemble. As a solo pianist, Mr. Pace specializes in the music of Robert Muczynski.


Brian Redmond


Brian Redmond is in his seventh year as director of bands at Rock Springs High School and fifteenth year teaching overall, having taught music at every grade level from kindergarten to college. In addition to his duties


as Director of Bands, Mr. Redmond serves as the district performing arts department chair, and has served as Band Vice-President for the Wyoming Music Educators Association.

Dr. Zachary Vreeman Dr. Zachary Vreeman is Director of Choral Activities at Casper College, and current President of Wyoming ACDA. He holds two degrees from Dordt University in Sioux Center, Iowa and completed his DMA in


Choral Conducting at the University of Nebraska— Lincoln. At Casper College Dr. Vreeman conducts the Chamber Singers, Collegiate Chorale, and the Contemporary Singers and teaches Music History and Education courses.


Chris Woodside Christopher Woodside serves in the National Association for Music Education’s Reston- based headquarters as Chief Operating Officer. In this capacity, Christopher manages NAfME’s ongoing operations and


procedures. Christopher is a key member of the senior management team and oversees the daily operations of NAfME and the work of directors for Finance and Human Resources, Constituency Relations, Membership, Policy, and Marcom.


Brent Rose


Brent Rose is the Director of Bands at Kelly Walsh High School in Casper. He teaches Symphonic Band, Marching Band, Pep Band, Multiple Jazz Ensembles, and Percussion Ensemble. Brent serves as the


co-director of the Wyoming All-State Marching Band. In addition to his present office, he has served numerous board positions with both the WMEA and the Wyoming Jazz Educators. Brent is a tuba player.
