sandwiches and topped flatbreads to classics such as pie, sausage and mash and fish and chips, The White Heart chefs devote their thought-out menu to providing home-cooked cuisine using the freshest seasonal produce.
For sporadic dining, why not try the Yorkshire Tapas sharing platter filled with regional delights such as pork pie, ham hock terrine, mini
toad in t’hole, bread and dripping and homemade pork scratchings – perfect to enjoy with a pint of porter or blonde from their own-brewed cask ale range.
If you’re looking for a more gourmet experience then the elaborately romantic restaurant will appeal to you. Set over two levels, the dining area is richly decorated with navy walls, button-backed leather chairs and ornate gilded accessories. Coupling up hearty classics with a haute cuisine twist, The White Heart’s a la carte evening menu sees the likes of crab and salmon salad or homemade scotch egg for starters, followed by gastro-style mains including six-hour slow roast lamb shoulder, venison steak or griddled halloumi and sweet potato skewers. Along with being a popular retreat for diners and drinkers, The White Heart also boasts a purpose-built function room that provides the perfect setting for weddings and celebrations.
Elegantly decorated in chic white and grey with a checkerboard floor and stunning chandeliers, the Talbot Suite has been adored by couples looking for an intimate gathering for their big day.
