Make a 2019 Calendar - great gift idea You will need:
• C5 blank card and envelope • A4 blue card in two shades • A4 embossed spotty card • C5 piece of white card • 2019 calendar tab • Stamped circle image set • Flowers, ribbon, braid and pearls • Distress ink in pink, brown and blue • Tape or glue and pricking tool (A kit for the above is available from Craft Corner & The Bears Den)
Cut two pieces of co-ordinating blue card – one 20.5cm x 14.5cm and the other 20cm x 14cm.
Method: Cut a piece of embossed card 19.5cm x 13.5cm.
Tape your calendar onto a piece of slightly larger blue card to create a border. Attach your ribbon on the back.
Place the calendar on the right-hand side of your embossed card then, using a pricking tool, make a hole through the card where your ribbon hangs now.
Using tape, attach your calendar and place your braid through the hole. Tape all three pieces of card to your C5 card blank, checking first you have it the correct way. Attach your image on the left leaving enough space for your flowers.
Cut a piece of white card 21cm x 7.5cm. Fold in half horizontally now open and score 1.5cm top and bottom.
Place tape along the scored sections and attach to base of your card, carefully lining up at the front and back. This will stabilise your calendar when in use.
Finish with flowers and pearls.
Your 2019 Calendar is now complete and will easily fold into a C5 envelope for posting.
