Find the type of fostering to suit you:
• Task Centred • Short term placements of up to 2 years while assessments are made for the long-term future of a child
• Aim is to return the child to their birth parents by retaining family links
• Long Term • Providing a ‘forever family’ for children who can’t return to their birth families
• You’ll offer a safe, stable and supportive environment
• Foster Plus • Full-time 24hr care for children and young people with additional needs
• Previous experience essential, no other children under 18 allowed but additional weekly placement fee given
• Respite Care
• Overnight stays to give regular carers a break from time to time, maybe for medical treatment, family issues or holidays
• Suited to those who work term-time and can support in the school holidays or can offer weekend breaks
• Same training and level of support • Helps new foster carers gain experience and confidence before progressing to full-time task centred carers
You can be married or single; straight or LGBT; retired, working or unemployed; rent or own your property
