As evening falls, head down into the grand dining room for a sumptuous three-course table d’hôte dinner, carefully cooked to perfection by the AA Rosette chefs. From Wye Valley Salmon with horseradish potato cake for starters, to slow cooked beef feather blade with garlic mash for mains – finish off with toffee panna cotta with salted caramel popcorn for a decadent treat. With rooms available throughout December, excluding Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year’s Eve, these exclusive stays are a Christmas gift come early, from just £55 per person Sunday to Thursday with weekend stays only £69.50 per guest.
