Dartmouth Food Festival - 2018 Manna from Devon Kitchen ‘A’ Workshop Timetable
Royal Avenue Gardens As ever our workshops have been organised and sponsored by Manna from Devon Cooking School. Situated in the Royal Avenue Gardens these workshops allow you to learn a new skill in a fun and informal setting.
Friday 19th October

CRACKING CRAB Holly Jones of Manna from Devon Cooking School will be showing you how to break into our local speciality, the brown crab. Then you’ll be getting hands-on, extracting all the meat and partnering it with some luscious home made mayo. £15 pp.
FISH COOKERY Nick Evans, head tutor of Rick Stein’s Cookery School in Padstow is back and will be passing on some of his best fish cooking tips as we cook the catch of the day. £12.50pp.
TRUFFLES WORKSOP Learn how to create your own chocolate truffles with Louis Cunningham-Hughes. £12.50pp
INDIAN COOKING MASTERCLASS This year Ankur Biswas from The Royal Castle Hotel takes over the reins of this popular curry masterclass. He’ll be creating one of his favourite Indian fish dishes with you and passing on essential tips for cooking Indian food in your own kitchen. £12.50pp.
BAN XEO WORKSHOP Manna from Devon’s David Jones will be teaching you to make one of his favourite pancakes discovered on our travels through Vietnam - a light pancake, stuffed with herbs, prawns, greens, and a zingy lime and chilli dressing. £12.50pp.
STEAK & SAUCES Learn how to cook the perfect steak with Louis from Manna from Devon and he’ll also show you the best Béarnaise and also peppercorn sauces to serve with it. £12.50pp.

PASTA & PESTO Make your own egg pasta, bash up your own basil pesto from the simplest of ingredients and enjoy it all with pasta making expert Holly Jones from Manna from Devon. £15 pp.
SEASONAL SALADS Cookery writer and demonstrator Charlotte Pike will be leading this workshop on making deliciously tasty salads using the best seasonal veggies to perk up your palate. An easy way to 5 a day! £12.50pp.
