Local, regional and nationally acclaimed chefs will be here on the Festival stage as well as in local restaurants and other Festival venues. It’s free entry to the Chefs’ Demonstration Kitchen so come early to get the best seats and ensure the best chance of tasting all the fabulous food being cooked.

Joyce Molyneux Honorary Patron Joyce Molyneux is a much loved life long patron of the Dartmouth Food Festival. Her first cookbook sold fifty thousand copies; her restaurant, the Carved Angel, which she owned and cooked in for twenty years, had a Michelin Star and a world-wide reputation.

Mitch Tonks Festival Advocate Award winning food writer, restaurateur and fishmonger, Mitch Tonks can only be described as a seafood champion, recognised as one of the leading seafood chefs and restaurateurs in the UK. His restaurants include The Seahorse in Dartmouth.


Susy Atkins Susy began her career as a wine writer in the early 1990’s at Wine magazine. She became co-editor of the Which? Wine Guide in 1997 and has since worked on seven editions of the guide. Susy now writes a weekly column for the Sunday Telegraph, Stella magazine and is drinks editor of Delicious magazine.


Serin Aubrey Serin started his time in Dartmouth opening the Anzac Street Bistro a much loved and successful bistro in the centre of Dartmouth but after 11 successful years Serin decided to have a change and set about a new business with old friend Simon Entwistle and Dartmouth Fine Foods was born.


Adam Banks Adam took up the post of Head Chef at Fifteen Cornwall in April 2018. He worked with them previously as a Senior Sous chef for five years before leaving to follow his love of food in Australia.


Rosemary Barron Rosemary’s professional interest in food and wine took root in San Francisco during a time of extraordinary innovation and creativity in the city’s gastronomic life. She’s written on food, wine and travel and has been published in magazines and newspapers such as Food and Travel, Zester Daily, Bon Appetit and Decanter.


Jane Baxter One of South Devon’s best-known chefs, has worked in top restaurants such as River Café in London and the Riverford Field Kitchen. She wrote the recipes for the two Riverford Farm Cook books - gaining two Guild of Food Writers awards. She has also written a series of “Leon” cook books and runs a business “Wild Artichokes” alongside Sam Miller.


Fiona Beckett An award winning food and wine writer, one of the UK’s leading experts on food and drink matching, wine columnist for The Guardian and author of 23 books on food, wine and beer. She is currently a contributing editor to the wine magazine Decanter and wine writer for Four magazine.
