It was finals Night in the
East Cork Darts Associa- tion as the first tournament came to an end with two high quality finals played. In Hennessey’s Bar in
Youghal the Premier Di- vision came to a close as Colbert’s swept
to victo-
ry against Hennessey’s A. The new champions came through 5-3 on the night. Michael Byrne got the first singles point for Colbert’s against Chris O’Connell. Liam Faul quickly replied for Hennessey’s to bring them back into the game. Colbert’s grabbed the
next Doubles game and Mick Casey produced a cracking game for Col- bert’s to overcome Tomas Bourke. With Colbert’s now 3 up Colin Sheehan responded for Hennessey’s to give them hope going into the final 3 games. Hen- nessey’s continued their charge in the next Doubles game to move to within 1 point.
Colbert’s Micheal Walsh
then took on Jason Fitzger- ald and came through a tense game to close out the match and crown Colbert’s Premier Division Champi-
