December 2017 Charity Screening Of ‘Love Actually’ For Cork ARC Cancer Support House In Youghal by DENISE

Centre Youghal, with kind permission, on Wednesday, 13 December the Chick Flicks Against Cancer Charity Screening of the Christmas film “Love Ac- tually” was very well sup- ported.
The screening
was to help raise funds for Cork ARC Cancer Sup- port House in Youghal, which serves all of the East Cork and West Waterford
areas. Speaking with The East
Cork Journal Organis- er, Anne Craughwell said “This was an idea which I just came up with ,and de- cided to host it in Youghal as the people of East Cork have provided such tre- mendous support to Chick Flicks Against Cancer. It is a lovely Christmas film and a great occasion for ladies to take some time out together and relax”. Anne went on to say that she was overwhelmed with
the support they received from many local businesses “which”, she said, “shows the wonderful communi- ty spirit from all over the area”. The local ARC Support Committee in Youghal told The East Cork Journal that

they were delighted sincerely
thanked Anne for all her dedication and commit- ment. “It was a wonderful idea”, they said, “and re- ceived fantastic support”.
