by COLMAN MOTHERWAY

Senior Hurlers rewarded for a great league campaign We narrowly failed to

win our first league title last month when Sars- fields beat us by 3-13 to 2-14 in the Red FM League Final, but, given where our senior team have come from, 2017 can be marked as a very suc-

cessful year for our senior hurlers. Last week, in one of her first official duties as Cathaoirleach, Coiste Chontae Chorcaí, Tracey Kennedy had the honour of presenting a cheque to her fellow club mem- ber, All-Ireland winning captain of 1999 Mark Landers, who these days has the onerous task of ‘bainisteoir’ to keep him busy. Well done to Mark and his hugely dedicated team of mentors and vol- unteers, and to the many players who contributed to the league success this

year. Hopefully 2018 will bring further success for our senior hurlers.

our last draw on Tuesday December 12th
