45 East Cork TY Students Make And Bake For St Vincent De Paul, Bumbleance And HOPE Foundation by DENISE FITZGERALD
The fundraising Make or Bake Sale hosted by the TY students at Po- balscoil na Tríonóide on Wednesday last for three very worthy charities was a huge success. The East Cork Journal arrived at a packed Hall where the selection of beautiful in- dividual crafts and home- made cakes, made and baked by the
students,
were in great demand. Teacher, Crona Mc-
Carthy told The East Cork Journal that more than 130 students were
involved in the Make or Bake, working on perfect- ing their crafts in classes over the past weeks.

very successful Craft Can- dle Workshop was hosted by Maura McCarthy, with many thanks, and the dis- play of
Christmas Can-
dles in various delight- ful greens and reds was amazing and were quickly snapped up. The Bake part of the fundraiser was phenom- enal, with a display of cakes, rocky road, cheese- cakes, flans, pies, tarts and more which made the mouth water just looking at them!

isers, Crona extended sin- cere thanks to the teachers involved-Ms Coughlan who made cakes with the students; Mr Norton for the Cheese Boards;
Ms
Donovan for the beautiful decorations; Ms Keniry for the
fantastic Craft
and Pottery; Ms Corkery and Ms Coughlan; The Old Imperial and Village Greengrocers Castlemar- tyr who supplied the cups; all the parents who helped and particularly to the students themselves who worked very hard to raise funds for three very wor- thy charities.
