Ensuring high visibility
and workers’ safety in the wind and offshore sectors
With many years of experience and knowledge of workwear, Mascot knows what workers demand of and need in their workwear. A knowledge that gave the company Frost & Sullivan’s 2017 European Product Leadership Award, a prize that emphasises the company’s ability to produce and deliver relevant, high-quality products and solutions to the target audience
Mascot is an international company with activities worldwide, employees in 14 countries and sales representatives in numerous countries including Denmark, Germany, France, United Kingdom and with particular focus on The Netherlands
LOCAL DISTRIBUTORS AND SHOW-VANS
The company has several sales representatives to service and help local distributors and in addition have an end-user team with account managers and even sales representatives driving a show-van in the Netherlands. The show-vans are mobile showrooms that visit end- users in collaboration with the local
distributor which is a perfect way to get help in finding the products that suit the specific company and their individual needs and demands.
THE WIND AND OFFSHORE SECTORS The wind and offshore sectors in the Netherlands are expanding and as a natural consequence hereof more workers are demanding high visibility workwear. Mascot offers workwear to many different sectors including trades, construction, logistics, industry etc, but also the wind and offshore sectors.
The workers in these sectors wear workwear from different brands, however, users often choose
workwear from the company based on the products’ cool look and usability. Workers don’t want to be limited in their freedom of movement and even though they want their workwear to keep them visible and safe, they also prefer products, for example jackets, that are functional, stylish and comfortable to wear.
HIGH QUALITY PRODUCTS The company is favoured by many workers due to their products’ top-class design, sublime fit and perfectly placed functions such as pockets in the right size and with the best locations. In addition, the users emphasise the quality of their products and the quality is tested to work, a notorious slogan and way of working for Mascot that is reflected in all areas of the company’s work with tests before, during and after production.
SAFETY WORKWEAR IN DIFFERENT COLOURS
Safety workwear has to keep you visible. It has to have a fluorescent base-colour, either yellow, orange or red and a certain area of reflectors. The area of fluorescent material and reflectors determine which safety class the wearer has. The larger area of fluorescent material and reflectors, the higher the clothing’s safety class is.
