Over the years, both companies have been successful as separate entities in the wind power industry with Turner Wind focusing primarily on the supply and servicing of wind turbine generator equipment and associated windfarm infrastructure, as well as the provision of comprehensive support in the form of authorised technicians, riggers/slingers, inspectors, foremen and site managers.
The company has provided an extensive pool of highly trained and experienced personnel for various preassembly work on the Hull Dudgeon & Racebank sites as well as various other onshore projects throughout the UK.
Iceni Marine Services have been responsible for the supply of crew and state of the art transfer vessels in the offshore windfarm construction and O&M stages for the past 10 years. The company has completed an impressive 19,180 crew transfers last year in 2016, working on various
