PORT CLARENCE LOGISTICS – READY FOR WIND


Port Clarence Offshore Base 54 acre multifunctional facility located in the North East of England on the North bank of the River Tees


The Port Clarence Offshore Base is operated by the on-site Shipping & Logistics team – Port Clarence Logistics (PC Logistics). The facility hosts a number of well-known and respected tenants including Wilton Engineering Services Ltd and Universal Coatings.


Load-out Quays serve the full river


frontage of the four assembly halls and the mooring facility extends to the downstream boundary of the site, giving a total berth of circa 300 metres. Heavy lift and roll-on and roll-off capability exists at the Angle Quay and at the two loadout aprons on the Main Quay.


OIL & GAS PROJECTS


Historically the yard has been utilised and focused entirely on the oil & gas Industry having fabricated, fitted and loaded-out in excess of 300,000 Tonnes of Decks, Modules and Structures for the UK and Norwegian North Sea.


DIVERSIFICATION


The oil & gas sector is slowly recovering from what have been some of the most challenging market conditions for decades. Current global challenges have highlighted the need for supply chain companies to leverage their skills and experience built up over the last 50 years to target opportunities in other sectors. Over the last 18 months the company has successfully developed game changing strategies to offer a competitive advantage to the offshore wind market from which new contracts have been secured.
