Six months since our dramatic retreat, from Chantry through illness,
It’s good to back!
Our journey to Chantry through the beautiful dales, to see the greenery of the hedgerows and the early blossoming of the trees.
It’s good to be back!

Local Feature
The Himalayan Gardens, Masham
O O
pened in 2005 and with 20 acres of woodland
garden, The Himalayan Gardens are located 6 miles from
Masham. With meandering woodland paths and tranquil lakes, the gardens are a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of life. Mr & Mrs Arundale are regular visitors and highly recommend the gardens, thanks to them for bringing these to our attention, I hope to visit during my weeks holiday in May and will be happy to pass on information afterwards.
What’s on-park
It’s time to get involved... This summer sees our biggest fundraising event yet!
nce again The Chantry Challenge will take place on the 16th July with a two-stage sponsored walk. The
distances will be 12 miles and 6 miles and you can collect your sponsor forms at the Owners’ Lounge. Every walker will receive a t-shirt on the day of the event; the walk will be followed by a reception in the Owners’ Lounge for everyone who has taken part and supported others. Also, during August our intrepid directors
Gary, Miles, Olly and James will be undertaking a 1,000-mile cycle trip visiting all the parks on the way. See page 6 for more details! They will be arriving at Chantry on the 10th August where they will undertake their challenge before getting back on their bikes for the next leg of their journey.

Summer is here as winter has passed, singing birds are nesting too, lambs are new born, new life
is materialising all around. It’s good to be back!
The air is fresh and sweet; away from the bustling city traffic, we know we would be healthier here,
It’s good to be back!
