Anglesey Show 9th & 10th August Anglesey is set to come alive as locals and visitors flock in their thousands to take part in a fantastic two-day event. The Anglesey County Show is one not to be missed! There’s something for the whole family, from horse jumping and dog shows to jousting and competitions including the ‘Shire Horse of the Year Competition’ qualifier. Situated at the Anglesey Agricultural Showground the show will boast around 300 stalls selling a wide range of items, from fresh local produce to arts and crafts. For more information

Beaumaris Lifeboat day 20th August The lifeboat covers the Menai Strait area between Anglesey and the North Wales mainland, and is one of the busiest in Wales. Celebrating over 100 years as a lifeboat station, the crew have been honoured with 12 awards. Beaumaris Lifeboat is one of seven lifeboats originally provided by the viewers of the Blue Peter television programme. Come and join us for our fun-filled day and show your support! Beaumaris Food Festival 10th & 11th September The 2016 Beaumaris Food Festival is set to be even bigger and better than last year! Against the backdrop of the 12th century Beaumaris Castle, the festival will be dotted with marquees and gazebos, offering tantalising foodie nibbles and meals from the best of Welsh produce to international street food.
