hilst being 679 feet in the air you’ll get to see panoramic views of the Bay of Llandudno as the


cable cars pass from Happy Valley to the summit of the Great Orme. You’ll also be able to see the Little Orme, Puffin Island, the Conwy Estuary and beyond into the Irish Sea… and whilst many say ‘don’t look down’, we recommend you do look down otherwise you’ll miss out on the beautiful gardens of Happy Valley.


The distance to the summit is just over a mile meaning that the cable car ride only lasts just under 10 minutes one way, so remember to take your camera for those fantastic views!


If heights aren’t your thing, you can


still make a day of it by keeping your feet firmly on the ground. As you look up you’ll see the colourful cable cars surrounded by beautiful scenery which makes a great addition to the landscape of the Great Orme Country Park and the many walking paths. The visitor centre at the Great Orme Summit is a must if you’re interested in the history, geology and wildlife of the park, with interactive and audio-visual exhibits and nature trail leaflets galore! Once you’ve finished your ride or


explored the nature trails there is the restaurant,


Alternatively you could take a picnic if you’re looking for a nice lunch.
