EXTENSIVE SERVICES
The company has been actively involved in guard, chase, support, cargo, crew and passenger transfer, fuel and water supply, bathymetric, debris recovery, shallow water survey, route clearance – seabed survey including camera, grab and video sampling, environmental work, trawl and traffic surveys.
2 NEW VESSELS
Mainprize are soon to take delivery of the first of a two vessel order from Buckie that will greatly increase their operational footprint.
SPECIFICATIONS the 25M LoA x 9.5M beam vessels are to a teknicraft design, fitted with twin Cat C32 engines designed for 30kts and able to carry 40T of deck cargo are truly versatile vessels.
Fitted with a moon pool, two 1.5t at 7m cranes and wide A frame rated at 1.5 tons with a 8 metre width allowing for the
largest survey class and medium work class RoV to be used.
The bridge is well equipped and houses: 5 point computer station and lounge area, 6 x 19” and 2 x 32” monitors to view the vessels networked information.
COMMUNICATIONS
Ease of access to any data required at a given station via a selector switch, V-sat satellite broad band, Wi-Fi, satellite phone, Inmarsat C, MF, HF and internal communications systems.
FACILITIES the deckhouse is fitted with 12 suspension seats, 7 person dining/ meeting table, large galley, toilet, treatment room and various lounge seats and two 32” monitors for training and entertainment.
MANTSBRITE LAUNCHES NEW KODEN BROADBAND ECHO SOUNDER
Mantsbrite Limited, a leading distributor of marine equipment for a number of international electronic navigation product manufacturers, is now supplying the new Koden CVS- 128B & CVS-1410B FX2BB broadband echo sounders to its 175 strong UK and Ireland dealer network.
SPECIFICATIONS the Koden CVS-128b & CVS1410b are dual frequency broadband echosounders with a 2kW power output. the CVS- 128b has an 8.4” colour display and the CVS-1410b has a 10.4” colour display. Two types of broadband transducer are available where the user can select and change a frequency as required to target specific fish species or avoid interference with other echosounders.
the Koden tDM-017 broadband transducer allows the operator to choose any two frequencies between 38kHz and 75kHz; with the tDM-091D broadband transducer the operator can choose
any two frequencies between 42kHz to 65kHz and 130kHz to 210kHz. the two chosen frequencies can be displayed simultaneously.
DIGITAL FILTERING TECHNOLOGY The frequencies can be adjusted in 0.1khz steps for precise tuning and best response when looking for specific fish species or when used for seabed ground discrimination. the new Koden broadband sounders also feature Koden Digital Filtering (KDF™) technology which enables a high resolution low noise picture and gives an outstanding range of detection when combined with the 2kW power output. With these features, the Koden Broadband echo sounders are suitable for commercial fishing or survey purposes.

They have added redundancy where they felt necessary, fully redundant bridge systems, twin generators fitted to reduce down time.
BESPOKE SERVICE the company also offer to fit clients’ specific equipment such as salvage pumps, oil recovery and FiFi equipment.
