MOUNT HOOD HEIGHTS & WINERY VISIT Take a sightseeing tour of Portland this morning before heading up to capture the views of Mount Hood, the highest point in Oregon, and from Timberline Lodge, a mountain retreat and National Historic Site. As you wind your way back down through Oregon’s wine country, stop for a tasting at the Mount Hood Winery and for a look at the scenic beauty of roaring Multnomah Falls on the Columbia River. 3. A LOCAL TAKE ON SEATTLE Spend the next two nights in Seattle, a city of walkers, bicyclists and foodies set on Puget Sound and surrounded by lush Northwestern forests. Have lunch at Salty’s on Alki Beach, a waterfront restaurant with views of the city skyline,

then travel in mini buses to neighbourhoods that are full of character.
