4. FLIGHTSEEING NEAR DENALI Weather permitting, take to the air on a flightseeing excursion over the foothills of Denali National Park for a chance to view the ice-clad summit of Denali itself. Touch down in Anchorage and head to the Alaska Native Heritage Center for lunch, a cultural dance performance and a guided tour. Drive to Cooper Landing on the Kenai Peninsula for a two-night stay. 5. WILDERNESS FUN ON KENAI PENINSULA The mountains and river of the Kenai River Valley provide the perfect setting for a day of outdoor fun, including a five-mile guided wilderness hike, lake kayaking*, and a river float trip*. Horseback riding and fishing on the Kenai River may also be available at an additional cost. This evening you’ll learn everything you ever wanted to know about porcupines at a special wildlife presentation. Meals BLD
6. PROTECTING WILDLIFE & WILDERNESS Get acquainted with the orphaned animals in rehabilitation at the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center. From here, it’s a short trip to Crow Creek Gold Mine, where you’ll learn – hands on – about this historic mine and the arts of gold panning and platinum prospecting. Meet a prospector, pan for gold, and enjoy a barbecue lunch. Tonight, attend a fun and informative presentation on mountain climbing. Meals BL
7. WONDERS BY RAIL & CRUISING All aboard the Alaska Railroad to zip along the breathtaking shores of Turnagain Arm en route to Whittier. Here a boat waits to whisk you off on a cruise in Prince William Sound. Glide past thundering waterfalls and spectacular glaciers and look for eagles, otters, and harbour seals. End the day swapping stories of your adventures at our farewell dinner. Meals BLD

Children 11 and under Discount $110 Children under 18 must be booked in a room with at least one adult. Triples and quadruples are usually a two-bedded room plus one rollaway cot, when available. Quadruple accommodations are not available for four adults.

Note: For activities marked with an asterisk (*) in day-by-day descriptions, participation is at your own risk; a signed liability waiver will be required.
Note: Tours of 15 June, 13 and 27 July will stay at the Seward Windsong Lodge nights 4 and 5. Guests will experience the same activities as other departures Days 4 and 5, except they will be in different locations. Guests on these departures will visit the Alaska SeaLife Center on Day 5 instead of experiencing the evening porcupine presentation.
