Bacharach

Bacharach has reduced the default low ‘leak’ alarm level on its newly revised HGM-MZ; Halogen Monitor Multi-Zone while extending the default sample line length on this active continuous refrigerant monitor. The recently introduced product upgrade reduces the leak alarm default value level to 10ppm and extends the sample line lengths per zone to 450ft.

The newly reduced low ‘leak’ alarm setting enhances the ability of the HGM-MZ to detect leaks early with “out of the box” factory settings, enabling the reduction of refrigerant loss, while reducing emissions of environmentally harmful greenhouse gases, and enhancing refrigeration system effi ciencies, reducing energy costs and minimizing the risk of lost inventories, such as produce within supermarkets. Bacharach is committed to delivering customers refrigerant leak detection instrumentation that not only exceeds performance expectations, but is quick and easy to install, confi gure and commission. The extended sample line length enhances this commitment, with a default setting that covers the typical maximum length used in most commercial refrigeration and food retail refrigerant detection installations.

www.mybacharach.com Carel Carel has extended its range of control

solutions for high-effi ciency CO2 condensing units with DC inverter technology.

Hecu sistema manages two compressor lines, typical of traditional transcritical CO2 booster systems,

thus meeting the needs of low temperature applications while ensuring the same high effi ciency guaranteed by DC inverter technology. It also opens the way for potential new applications. The DC inverter technology adopted simplifi es condensing unit construction, even when operating on CO2

, meaning improved

energy effi ciency, a compact design and noise reduction. Hecu manages wide variations in cooling capacity with an economically- sustainable solution. Hecu sistema for CO2

retains all the solution’s

distinctive features, providing advanced real-time optimisation procedures.

The Hecu version for CO2 refrigerant also minimises the typical

condensing unit start/stop cycles of ON-OFF or step systems, ensuring better unit operation through continuous control of cooling capacity and integrated prevention logic. The Hecu solution is compatible with and integrated into the Carel supervision and monitoring solutions, allowing complete remote access to the system.

Foodservice and food retailing equipment provider, Fri-Jado UK has broadened its range of modular counters to meet the needs of grab & go operators. The company off ers models for the

display of hot, chilled or ambient food, supplied in 750mm or 1000mm case lengths.

Modules may be easily suited to create in-line counter runs, for the display of hot, chilled and ambient food, providing a consistent merchandising solution for the complete food to go off er. Fri-Jado’s modular service counters are available with easily cleaned square or curved glass profi les, which provide high visibility of merchandise, promoting impulse purchases.

Cabinet illumination further enhances the visibility of the food on display. Thermo glass insulation ensures stable cabinet temperatures and avoids compromise to the performance of adjacent modules. Chilled units incorporate high performance refrigeration and precise humidity control to maintain stable storage temperatures. T he chilled counters are designed for the display of a wide variety of

snacks. www.frijado.co.uk
