Advanced Engineering charity golf day raises over £5k
CIAT announces venues and dates for UK Roadshows

IAT Ozonair has announced venue details for its UK Roadshow, which includes eight events in major cities across the country. It is part of a mammoth tour by the manufacturer which includes stops in 20 countries, covering more than 25,000 miles and visiting 70 cities across Europe, North Africa, Russia and Turkey.
The UK tour begins on 15 May in Newcastle, followed by events in Scotland, the north of England, the West country, and culminating at CIAT Ozonair headquarters in Leatherhead and fi nally in London, at Twickenham Stadium.
The dates and venues are as follows:

dvanced Engineering, the specialist chemical manufacturer and brands distributor, was joined by Falklands War veteran and author Simon Weston on 4th May for its charity golf day at Sherfield Oaks Golf Club in Hampshire.
Attended by the Advanced Engineering team, their customers and editors from key ACR publications, the golf tournament winner, who came out ahead of a field of 60 golfers, was Andy Thomas from FSW who won by 44 points. After the match guests warmed up from the cold with an evening meal and exclusive audience with the inspirational Simon Weston.
Now in its 23rd year, the annual golfing event allows the company to thank its most-valued customers.
Barry Lea, chairman of Advanced Engineering, said: “We are privileged to work with so many good people in our industry – particularly our customers, distributors and suppliers. Days like this allow us to thank them for their support… while also supporting the wider community that we work within”
This year’s charitable benefactor is Changing Faces. Established in 1992, it helps those with visible disfigurements to reach their potential: free from prejudice or abuse.
Advanced Engineering presented Simon Weston with a cheque for £5,000, as well as an additional £145, which was raised on the day by those attending the event.

The centrepiece of the Roadshow is a giant, purpose-built pantechnicon, equipped with the
latest innovations in air conditioning, heating and air movement technology and systems. The showcase includes the new CLIMACIAT and Floway Access air handling units; Aquaciat packaged chiller and heat pump; the Ereba packaged reversible air/water heat pump with inverter technology, as well as split and multi split air/air heat pump.
There are also examples of CIAT’s complete comfort unit range Major Line, Coadis Line, Comfort line and Melody 2 systems, plus its high performance ITEX energy recovery heat exchanger. Another star attraction is the company’s new magnetic levitation compressor, which will be demonstrated alongside the Smart CIATControl platform and CIATM2M supervision systems.
