Renowned safety expert jumps on board as Jackson Fire and Security expands into Liverpool

safety specialist has opened a franchise in Liverpool with the ambition to grow and hire more staff from the city. On board with the new


Jackson Fire and Security expansion is well-known Liverpool businessman Geoff Billington, who last year sold the Bootle- based marine safety company International Safety Products, which he co-owned. Geoff ’s son Mike brought in his father after becoming branch director and returning to his roots after many years on the road as a national sales manager. Jackson Fire and Security has built up


a strong reputation for installation and maintenance of fi re and intruder alarms, extinguishers, CCTV and emergency lighting.


A key member of its Liverpool team will be engineer Mark Dillon, who has worked in the industry for 11 years with security systems specialist ADT.


Mike Billington said: “Jackson Fire and Security has become a well-known brand and we are delighted to be opening its branch in Liverpool.


“Liverpool is such a developing city that I believe there is going to be a rising demand for our services.


“Within 12 to 18 months, I want us to have been so successful that we have new premises with more jobs, in the offi ce and on the road, for local people.”

campaign in which businesses can save money by coming to us for all their fi re and security services.”

Liverpool is taking off and I want us to be part of its exciting times.” Jackson Fire and Security employs 35 people across franchises in Liverpool, Warrington, Wirral, North Wales, Cambridge and Leeds.
