Is there room for more franchisees? Yes, we currently have four territories operating and several areas in negotiations; there are a number of prime territories still available in this rapidly growing market.

What sort of person do you think would suit a Suit the City franchise? Someone who is ambitious, outgoing, loves empowering their clients, has a hunger to win and ideally has an interest in the products! Additionally, someone who can follow our model and is prepared to build a scalable, saleable business.

What advice would you give to someone thinking of buying their fi rst franchise?

Meet the owners of the business and make sure that you get on with the team; you will probably be spending at least the next fi ve years working with them. You should do extensive research on the company’s background, feel comfortable with the values and ethics of the company, and love the products.

Choose something that you have a passion for, look at the role that you will be fulfi lling and make sure that this will suit your skill set and your personality.

What are your plans for the future? We have been members of the British Franchise Association for over three years and have taken a prudent approach to growing our franchise network in order to build and sustain the brand reputation. We are rolling out the franchise off ering and plan to have 50 franchisees serving the UK market, with around 20 in the London area.
