Drytac ‘impresses’ with window graphic installation

Wallace Print recently installed a window graphic at Drakes Plumbing Supplies, printed on Drytac’s ViziPrint® Impress Clear UV film.

Drakes wanted a window graphic for an internal partitioning wall window and had some specific requirements. The com- pany wanted a window graphic what would display all the brands it works with in full colour; yet the material needed to allow the rest of the window to remain optically clear. The final requirement was that the window graphic must be easy to fit.

Large format digital and screen printer, Wal- lace Print, recommended Drytac’s ViziPrint Impress Clear UV film for the installation as it met all the requirements.

Chris Payne from Wallace Print said: “ViziPrint Impress Clear UV film is ideal for self-adhesive applications on glass and other smooth, flat surfaces. And with Dry- tac’s proprietary adhesion technology it is easy to install. It has been specifically de- signed for the trouble-free, dry installation of graphics.”

The 100 micron printable, ultra-clear PET film is compatible with UV and latex print- ers. ViziPrint Impress Clear UV film is PVC- free, 100 per cent recyclable, and resistant to both wear and tear and water.

Wallace Print designed and printed the win- dow graphic in-house on its UV flatbed digital printer. The printed graphic was backed up with white ink to make the logos stand out.

It really makes the walkway come to life and hits the customer with the key brands we supply.

Tom Taylor, Head of Marketing at Drakes, said: “The new window graphic is next to the entrance corridor. It really makes the walk- way come to life and hits the customer with the key brands we supply.

“The best thing is that there’s still plenty of optically clear space within the graphic, so customers and staff can still see each other through the window. It was also incredibly easy to apply.”

From the entrance all the brands available from Drakes are dis- played on the internal window, using ViziPrint Impress film.

From inside the office, you can still see outside the window, due to the properties of the clear UV film.

Signs and Print on a roll with Rollsroller!

Signs and Print in Braintree, Essex is continuing its investment with their lat- est purchase of a Rollsroller 540/220P flatbed applicator from Spandex.

Signs and Print supplies trade only re- sellers throughout the UK with all types of signage. With this latest in- vestment they are looking to reduce turnaround times whilst maintain a consistent high quality finish on a wide range of rigid boards.

Lee Reeves, Managing Director said: “In today's climate we are increasingly

seeing demands for shorter turn- around times from our trade clients; and our investment in the Rollsroller enables us to substantially decrease our

turnaround times without

compromising on quality. Before the Rollsroller was installed we had a bottleneck in our production on the mounting of

large boards.

Mounting by hand was labour inten- sive and time consuming, requiring two people to mount

larger

boards. This can now be done within a fraction of the time and by one operator.”

Signs and Print new Rollsroller flatbed applicator is sav- ing them a significant amount of time.
