Among the range from APA are films such as the AP/HTS80 and AP/HTS90, films that are extremely adhesive thanks to the HTS technology and therefore suitable for applications on uneven surfaces such as walls and wood. “The innovative HTS tech- nology also enables the creation of labels and graphics to be applied to apolar surfaces such as polyethylene and polypropylene plastics.”

Roberto notes that one of the main chal- lenges that graphics professionals may en- counter is meeting the demand for the customisation and decoration of increas- ingly difficult surfaces. These can be sur- faces that are not perfectly smooth, such as furniture, walls, or furnishings. In order to address these needs, APA has created the Interior Design range to include this HTS technology, a special formulation that en- sures film adhesion even on irregular or dif- ficult surfaces. “The other major challenge of the current market is linked to the after- sales service offered by companies,” adds Roberto. “Digital printing insiders should al- ways offer not only the best products but also the best service to their customers, a key factor that nowadays represents a com- petitive advantage.”

The demand for interior decoration materi- als is also on the rise. More and more cus- tomers are requesting self-adhesive films for digital printing in order to decorate floors, walls and furniture, and choose APA mate- rials because they are created specifically for this industry and are a guarantee of ex- cellence. “Just a few days ago we launched a brand new product, AP/HR2-WL, a high- performance PVC with a captivating texture

and linen finish, ideal for the decoration of walls and partitions, which meets the grow- ing demand for textures and finishes evok- ing fabrics,” adds Roberto.

APA has over forty years of experience in the manufacture of self-adhesive materials, which can provide obvious peace of mind when it comes to product reliability. “We also continuously invest in research, inno- vation and technological development. These are the keys to APA's success and we look forward to showing the public our 2017 novelties for the digital printing industry.”
