12 . Glasgow Business February 2016

Production

Exciting times ahead for all at 422

It’s been a hectic few months at 422, the Glasgow film production company. In addition to producing three videos which formed the centrepiece at the SSE Scottish Music Awards (for music therapy charity Nordoff Robbins) the team has been working on a wide array of other projects for both broadcast and brand partners. BBC Scotland’s series

The Mountain, which explores Scotland’s greatest wilderness, Cairngorm, was post-produced at 422 and the team also worked on CBBC’s Eve, with the offline, online, grading, sound design and VFX all being completed in-house. One of 422’s production

clients, Edinburgh-based Ko Lik Films, also recently picked up the BAFTA for Children’s Short Form programme for the endearing Ooglies. 422’s John Cobban and Will Cory were responsible for the show’s sound and sound design. With many more projects in the pipeline for broadcast partners and corporate clients, including RBS, Standard Life Investments and GHA, 2016 looks set to be even busier than 2015.
