ycling Scotland is the campaigning organisation that aims to bring cycling out
from the fringes of everyday life into the mainstream. A registered charity and
company limited by guarantee, Cycling Scotland receives funding from Transport Scotland. Its vision is to create a
sustainable, inclusive and healthy Scotland where anyone, anywhere, can enjoy the benefi ts of cycling. Its mission, working along
with others, is to help create and deliver opportunities and an environment where anyone in

Scotland can enjoy cycling in their communities safely and easily. Cycling Scotland is working with a range of partners with the
aim of making all of Scotland’s cities, towns and rural areas more ‘bike friendly’. It runs the Cycle Friendly
NEW MEMBER Cycling Scotland
Employer programme, which raises the profi le of cycling at a growing number of workplaces across Scotland. T e organisation supports
the delivery of the Bikeability Scotland programme, which makes cycling training available to children throughout Scotland through partnership with local councils. Cycling Scotland runs Pedal
for Scotland – the largest mass-participation bike ride in the country – in September each year, with a team from Glasgow Chamber having taken part in the 2015 event.

ngliston Country Club in Bishopton aims to off er fi ve-star luxury in the stunning surroundings of the rolling
Renfrewshire hills. It is a family-run country club
that aims to off er something for the whole family, whether customers are looking for a meal,
a place to stay or for a venue for a special event. It features Palomino’s
Restaurant and Cocktail Bar where a team of award-winning chefs off er a range of Scot ish and Italian cuisine. T e restaurant is a member of the Scot ish Beef Club and sources its Scotch beef from
Buccleuch Farms in Dumfriesshire. Glasgow fi shmonger Andy Bell supplies the fi sh and seafood, sourced from Scot ish waters. Ingliston has an equestrian
centre that caters both for the serious professional and weekend amateur riders, with its British Horse Society-approved Riding
Academy featuring lessons from experienced coaches. Ingliston hosts about 150
weddings a year in either its Connemara or Salerno Suites. Wedding packages include a complementary consultation for the bridal party with Ingliston’s head therapist and stylist.
