Pioneering an alternative to the traditional linear economy
A
unique partnership has been formed between Glasgow Chamber of Commerce and Zero Waste Scotland to take
forward a range of innovative measures to support the development of a circular economy in Scotland. New ways of reducing waste, saving
resources and developing renewable processes that will both be ‘Green’ and save businesses money are set to be explored, including
Chamber and Zero Waste Scotland. Alison McRae, Projects Director of
opportunities for Glasgow-based businesses to become involved in ground-breaking pilot projects. If successful, Zero Waste Scotland may then
look to roll out initiatives across other parts of Scotland - seting Glasgow at the heart of progressive action on the circular economy. Te programme will mark a three-year strategic agreement between Glasgow
