The University of Glasgow has publicly committed to working towards a more effi cient, sustainable future through its agreement of a fi ve-year carbon management plan with the Carbon Trust. Currently, 75 per cent of campus electricity supply is generated from green sources, resulting in a 26,000 tonnes per year reduction in CO2 emissions associated with the University’s activities. Over the last decade it has invested £2.5million to reduce carbon emissions.
