In November, MyRentals launched its unique travel services with an event at Drygate Glasgow and key sponsorship of the ASSC Self Catering Property Conference. They are now partnering with B&Bs, boutique hotels and private rental properties across Scotland before expanding into Spain. With Government targets of


2.5 per cent of GDP for British R&D investment, the UK trails the rest of the EU. “Investment in R&D and innovation is critical if the UK economy is going to compete in fast-growing markets,” said Jimmy Johnston MBE, of Aarandee Ltd.

The King’s and Theatre Royal Glasgow are proud to be supporting two major charities; CHILDREN 1st and ENABLE Scotland. The theatres aim to raise much-needed funds for the charities through bucket collections at the venues, ticket donations and sponsored events. Dinosaur Zoo helped announce

90 new staff for Ashurst in Glasgow


International law fi rm Ashurst launched its Glasgow offi ce to create a centre of excellence to drive change and innovation. At launch in August 2013,


the city’s offi ce had only eight staff but that number has grown to more than 200, making it the fi rm’s fourth largest offi ce globally. An extra 90 members of staff joined this year alone, in business support roles and in the new legal resourcing model. The creation of a new legal


sourcing centre in Glasgow has also allowed Ashurst to create an alternative career proposition for law graduates not pursuing the traditional traineeship route. These legal analyst roles, as well
