“Within the resort itself, we host the region’s largest Christmas celebration - Christmas on the Potomac, which is open daily November 21 through January 3, 2016," Dinbokowitz continues. "The resort is decked out in more than two- million lights and offers free nightly foun- tain shows with indoor snowfall;a 55-foot tall, suspended, star-tiered Christmas tree; photos with Santa; gingerbread decorat- ing; character dining experiences; carousel rides; as well as the area’s most popular holiday attraction - ICE!”

ICE! is a winter walk-through attraction that features colorful, larger-than-life ice sculptures hand-carved from more than two-million pounds of ice. “Kept at a frigid 9-degrees Fahrenheit, the theme this year is the classic TV special 'Santa Claus Is Comin’ to Town,' which is cele- brating its 45th anniversary. The attraction also includes 'The Frostbite Factory,'

where visitors will see ICE! artisans carv- ing original sculptures - live,” exclaims Dinbokowitz.

ICE! has become an exciting and entic- ing regional attraction. For groups, Gaylord National offers various options to incorporate Christmas on the Potomac festivities, as well as ICE! into their agen- das.

“When booking a holiday event at Gaylord National," Dinbokowitz explains, "our team can incorporate a visit to ICE!, plan a special dinner at one of our restaurants, coordinate a special experience on The Capital Wheel obser- vation wheel in National Harbor, or a arrange for aVIP shopping pass at Tanger Outlets. The possibilities are endless.”
