A Novel Approach To Protecting Slatted Covers
Always looking for ways of bringing pool ownership and maintenance within range of the widest possible customer base, Golden Coast is introducing DEL’s IVERNEA winter shield to the UK market. Available exclusively through Golden Coast, this unique and economical approach to protecting slatted covers is compatible with all of DEL’s in-ground and above-ground models and can also be fitted to those of other manufacturers.
Designed for use between October and April, the IVERNEA shield keeps slatted covers clean and defends them against damaging UV radiation, while helping to maintain water quality. It consists of a robust polyethylene fabric sheet with a peripheral screen which filters rainwater and traps dirt and leaves.
Easy to attach using its clip and
elasticated cord system, the shield fits directly onto the cover slats with no need for unsightly fixtures on the pool surround. Golden Coast notes that IVERNEA is only suitable for use with solid colour PVC or polycarbonate slats, but that these form the basis for most slatted covers. IVERNEA comes in a choice of two colours, green or blue, which blend discreetly into their surroundings. “We think IVERNEA is an excellent practical and highly affordable addition to the DEL range,” says Golden Coast’s, Managing Director Jamie Adams. “Although at the moment outdoor pool owners’ minds are on making the most of their summer enjoyment, it’s always worth planning ahead for the necessary autumn and winter precautions to keep pools and their accessories in tip-top shape.”

frame features anodised aluminium handles for long use. An optional door, which provides an opening of 900 mm, ensures good wheelchair access.
Easy to install, the Elyseé kit is supplied in ready-to-assemble, pre-fabricated wall and ceiling sections – with integral seating, complete with a recessed downlight above each seat. Kits also include lighting, air outlet vent and all assembly hardware required. Elyseé has been
designed with flexibility in mind. For example, its wall and seat modules
can be replaced with glazed wall sections – allowing more light in – at no extra charge – as part of a complete Tylö steam room. Rooms can also be equipped with a service wall, shelf compartments and fittings for the mixer tap, shower head and riser rail.
In addition, steam rooms with a floor area less than four square metres can be supplied with a vacuum- formed white plastic floor tray – except when fitted with its optional glass front.
