Harley Record Breaking Fun Day

The annual Fun Day staged in Eucalyptus Park in Albir on 14th June by the Costa Blanca España Harley Davidson group broke all previous records, including attendance figures, quantity of beer consumed, but most important the amount raised for the group’s chosen charity.

Following a police escorted ride-out through the streets of Albir, Altea and Benidorm by nearly 600 bikes, the return to the park saw 17 Charity Biker Babes take to the main stage to present a cheque for 13,000 euros to Tony and Lucy from Make A Smile. This money was raised in sponsorship by the biker babes and the appeal was most generously sponsored by Gina Marks from GM Promotions.

Tony Grande said, ‘This fantastic donation will make a real difference in the coming months as our charity struggles to cope with the current and very urgent needs of the children for whom we seek to support. Our biker friends have really become heroes to Make A Smile and we send them all our sincere thanks and appreciation and of course also to the lovely Biker Babes’.
