Female Focus
Following on from their sell-out concert in Calpe in September, Amadeus are combining music and drama with their own brand of fun and laughter for their Christmas show “A Christmas Carol” being performed at the Espai La Senieta in Moraira, the Casa de Cultura in El Verger and the Salon Blau in the Calpe Casa de Cultura on the 3rd, 4th and 5th of December respectively.
“A Christmas Carol”
The show includes a four-person reading of the famous story about the miser Scrooge, who discovers the true meaning of Christmas with the help of three ghosts. Roger Brown plays Scrooge while Rosemary Brown, Pat Doidge and Chris
Farrow play all the other characters in the live version that was adapted by Charles Dickens himself, and edited by his Great Great Grandson. The group will be joined by Philip Ashley, Gillian Hodges, Aileen Lightfoot and Peter Williams for a musical feast that will have you singing and laughing for the rest of the evening. The concert includes well-known Christmas Carols and songs, and if you have been to any of the previous shows by Amadeus you will know to expect a few unexpected twists and surprises. Each evening you have the chance to win a Christmas Hamper for just 1 Euro for 5 chances. Money raised from the Hamper will be donated to the Friends of the Children of Emaús along with a portion of the tickets sales. Amadeus would like to thank Molino Villas of Moraira for their sponsorship of this fun and festive show with tickets available from their office at Comercial Kristal Mar 24E, Carretera Moraira-Calpe 0.2km, Moraira, also available from Margaret & Elena’s Book & Card Shop, Galerias Mar Azul 9, Avda Gabriel Miro, Calpe.
