C a r e l i n e Theatre: The read through has been read, the auditions have been held and cast has been chosen for their annual pantomime which this year is Alice in Wonderland which will be staged in January 2015. Welcome to the Stage Diary, a column that since it was first launched in 2007, has become a major central point of reference to amdram on the Costa Blanca. Not only does it act as a guide to what’s on in all the regions, but is also an important on-line introduction to potential expat’s researching community life in Spain. It also acts as a planning guide to assist groups avoid unnecessary clashes of production dates.


Calpe Gilbert and Sullivan Society: The society is rehearsing their next production - a concert performance of the ever popular Gondoliers, to

Campoverde Theatre Group: The staff at Grace Brothers would like to invite you to an evening of light hearted entertainment. I’m Free is a musical adaptation of that much loved comedy classic “Are You Being Served?” Meet again all the well known characters that made this such a sitcom classic. Cantabile Female Voice Choir: The choir will be performing the female version of Gabriel Fauré’s exquisite Requiem in Spring 2015. A very friendly and sociable group of ladies who take their music seriously and are always looking for new members who would enjoy learning a more classical repertoire of choral works. Cardinal Belluga Theatre Group: The group are now back in action. Date and venues for Christmas carol performances will be announced shortly. Rehearsals for their 2015 production start soon. Costa Blanca Male Voice Choir: The C h r i s tma s season starts wi t h t h e i r f i rst publ ic concert at the El Verger Casa De Cultura on Tuesday 2nd December in aid of the ‘Grant a Wish’ charity.
