Female Focus El Campello and surrounding area

El Campello is located about 14 kilometres North of Alicante. It is a typical coastal fishing town with the charm of true Spain along with everything the visitor and holidaymaker should need. The location is ideal for sports lovers, especially those with a love of water related sports such as sailing, scuba diving and windsurfing, it even has a Marina and a Sailing Club. With twenty three kilometres of coast line, beautiful beaches and promenades, as well as cliffs and coves, it is perfect for hikers, cyclists and walkers as

well as sun worshippers who like nothing more than to laze on the wide sandy beaches. The Cuevas de Canelobre (Canelobre Caves), which were formed millions of years ago and are filled with stalactites and stalagmites are close by and have guided tours available in various languages. There is a weekly market where you can buy fresh local produce and try out your Spanish and the tourist office is located near the railway station. With an excellent selection of restaurants and bars, it is well worth a visit for the day, long weekend or if you can, a longer stay.
