The family restaurant has a truly unique welcoming and friendly ambience that will stay with you a long time after your visit. It is situated on the beach front in Altea not far from the port where there is free parking. The restaurant was opened, following the success of the sister restaurant in Moraira.
The food is prepared by a chef with twenty years’ experience in the Nepalese cuisine with selected menus that are explained to you by a friendly warm staff only wanting your experience to be an enjoyable one. This new restaurant welcomes you to a Nepalese experience with reasonably priced cuisine that will please all tastes including a menu for children. Parties are welcome with special discounts for ten or more people. They are also open on Christmas day and New Year’s Eve so we recommend you book early for the festive season.
I visited the restaurant to sample the food and with many years of travelling in the Far East and the experience of serving with a Ghurkha Unit and eating from their kitchen, found the
dishes to be uniquely authentic. In my opinion, the food and service ranked greatly which will give anyone with a leaning towards this type of food an enjoyable time to remember. The Meal of the Day starts at 15€. There is a dish where you can sample in small portions a wide selection of the Chef’s special recommendations. I sampled this but also tasted the Lamb Labab Dar; pieces of tender lamb cooked in chopped red and green capsicum, tomato; Nepali spices, fresh cream and aromatic herbs.
