Friends of the Children of Emaús Christmas Fair
The Friends of the Children of Emaús Christmas Gift Fair will, as in previous years, be at Dénia Marriott La Sella Golf Resort & Spa located close to Jesus Pobre at Alqueria de Ferrando s/n, Dénia, Alicante, 03749. (For directions contact

It is a two day affair, on Saturday and Sunday 29th and 30th November and doors will open at 11am and close at 6pm on both days. There will be some 140 stalls in the Casino, the Ballroom and the corridors between the two. If you’ve been along in previous years you will know to expect all manner of goodies; if it will be your first visit, be prepared for a surprise!
Father Christmas is making a weekend of it – so long as he has finished making all the world’s presents! Just in case he has some final touches to do to those, he will be in his grotto for children and parents to visit from 11am sharp and he will leave for his dinner (and those final touches) at 6pm both days. He is a very hard working Santa. Every child will receive a gift from Santa and have a photo taken with him............ by professional photographers, the Schillings. Pictures won’t be expensive and you get the photo to take away on the day.

DJ Darrell will be on duty in the playroom of the Marriott; there will be Christmas music all day but he can also repatriate lost children, deal with badly parked cars, mention stalls having special offers - or anything else anyone wishes him to say. Children can sing their Mummies and Daddies a short Christmas Carol if they wish – well anyone can if they really want to!
The Jazz & Blues bar will run non-stop food, coffee and beers in the quiet area so that anyone who does not wish to buy gifts for Christmas, anyone who did it all in 10 minutes, and anyone who just needs a break can sit and talk whilst the family shop ‘til they drop!
This will be a great weekend so please mark 29th and 30th November in your diary.
