Going Out - Page 53 Cooking up a storm
Nilam Wright from Curry On Cooking based in San Javier has achieved a first for SAMMS (Sailing Association Mar Menor) by being the first female winner of The Mar Menor Challenge Trophy by crossing the winning line in 1hr 29mins.
Nilam Wright is riding high after triumphing at winning the first ever Shoestring Pursuit Race around Sardine Island.

Four boats took part in the race. Boats were started off by using SAMMS handicaps. An Evening of Entertainment
On 12th and 13th November enjoy ‘An Evening of Entertainment’, involving a number of dance items performed the Suzi4fitz ladies, The Matrix Rock Choir and local magician Graeme Mykal.
The show will be held at the Auditorium of the School of Music in Los Montesinos and after expenses proceeds from the ticket sales will go to buying food vouchers to help the poor in Los Montesinos. Aroca Sequier Abogados & Associates donate 5,431.17€ to the Reach Out Association
At the presentation of the charity calendar Torrevieja Outlook 2015 the hosts and sponsors of the calendar, Aroca Sequier Abogados & Associates, made a donation of 5,431.17€ to Reach Out Association which deals with the homeless and needy.
The organisation has a shop and day centre together where the homeless are welcomed with the opportunity to have a shower, a meal, launder their clothes or pick others, and have some food to take away. The photo shows Miguel Angel, lawyer and Karolina, head of the association.
